NEW LAKEVIEW HOME

Lakeview is a New Orleans suburban neighborhood developed in the 1950’s and 1960’s that has a variety of residential architectural typologies.  This project begins to address the more traditional massing of the neighboring homes while moving more into a modern aesthetic with the material and architectural minimal detailing.  The design allowed for a large open side-yard which can be viewed from the home’s large windows adjacent to the living, dining, and kitchen space.
