The goal of the design was to draw attention to the owners art collection as well as his impeccable taste in high-end furniture. The minimal white backdrop provides a clean canvas for the artwork to shine through, while custom dramatic lighting draws attention to the statement pieces. Dark stained hardwood floors, black window frames + hardware create a stark contrast, while not distracting the eyes from the artwork throughout the space.
master suite
Inspired by the clients travels, our interiors team custom designed a rift cut oak platform bed frame, cabinets and integrated nightstands. Within the design, bedside lighting and switches are integrated seamlessly for a clean, minimal look. Local artisan, Union Studios, crafted the furniture here in New Orleans.
Master Bathroom
The master suite flows seamlessly between bedroom and bathroom without height changes in the floor. The rooms are separated by the floor to ceiling glass shower.
A major highlight of the bathroom design is the custom pre-cast concrete double vanity with integrated sinks. Designed at a custom height for our tall client. The vanity is over 11 feet long, weighing over 400 pounds. [A fun design challenge for a fourth floor install!]

Powder room
A minimal half bath was added to the floor-plan. The client picked a fun pop-art wallpaper for one wall, and followed the minimal white with black accents throughout the rest.
